Booking
Conditions
- The accommodation, known as Pilot Cottage,
Exmouth, is booked from 3 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated
by 10 am on the day of departure
- .No booking is accepted until a completed
booking form togetherpayment of the total cost of the
accommodation has been received and acceptance of the booking has been
confirmed in writing. Your deposit will be returned at once if we are
unable to accept your booking.
- Once
a booking has been confirmed the Hirer is responsible for the total
cost of the holiday as shown on the invoice. In
the event of cancellation by the Hirer, the Owner shall be entitled to
retain twentfive percent of monies already received as a booking fee.
Upon receipt of reasonable notice
of cancellation, the Owner will use all reasonable efforts to re-let
the accommodation. However, the Hirer shall be liable to pay the full
hire cost unless the Owner has been successful in re-letting the
holiday.. We strongly recommend that you take an appropriate
holiday cancellation insurance policy before booking to cover you for
any unforsenn ventuality. For further details see cancellation insurance
below.
- The Hirer agrees:
- To pay for any damage howsoever caused,
excluding reasonable fair wear and tear.
- To take good care of the property and leave
it in a clean and tidy condition ready for occupation by the next
hirers.
- That the number of people occupying the
property will not exceed four, including children.
- Not, without the written consent of the
Owner, to permit any person(s) to occupy the property other than such
person(s) named on the Reservation Form as submitted by the Hirer at
the time of booking.
- Not to cause nuisance or annoyance to
occupants of nearby property, nor to permit smoking within any part of
the premises.
- The premises may be checked by the Owner on
the morning of departure to verify that they are in clean and tidy
condition and that the inventory is correct.
- The Hirer will remain responsible for all
members of the party and should ensure that they are aware of the
booking conditions. If these are not met, particularly in the case of
noise, smoking on the premises or nuisance to neighbours, the Owner
could refuse entry or re-entry to the property and no moneys be
refunded.
- The Owner, his representatives and agents
shall not be liable for any loss, damage, inconvenience or liability
arising out of the hiring.
- This agreement shall be deemed to be a
contract entered into in England and subject to English law. It is
expressly agreed that the English courts shall have jurisdiction.
N.B. CANCELLATION
INSURANCE
We
would like to remind you that once we have accepted your booking it
becomes a legally binding contract and should you cancel your holiday
you will lose your deposit and will be liable for the whole outstanding
balance should we not be able to re-let the accommodation on your
behalf.
We are no longer able to offer you cancellation insurance ourselves due
to recent changes in legislation. However we would strongly recommend
you have insurance in place to cover any unforseen eventuality.
